Content Policy
Last Updated: June 23, 2026
Bigjpg is an AI-powered image upscaling and enhancement platform. This Content Policy defines what content is prohibited on our service, how we moderate content, and the consequences for violations. All users must comply with this policy.
1. Service Description
Bigjpg provides AI-powered image upscaling and enhancement services. Users upload existing images to improve resolution and visual quality. Bigjpg does not generate images from text prompts, create synthetic media, or produce new content. Unlike generative AI platforms, Bigjpg processes and enhances user-provided images only.
Because Bigjpg is a processing tool rather than a content generation or publishing platform, uploaded images are not publicly displayed, shared, or redistributed. Images are accessible only by the uploading user during the applicable retention period.

The following categories of content are strictly prohibited from being uploaded, processed, or distributed through Bigjpg:
2.1 Child Safety

- "Revenge porn" or sexually explicit content shared without consent

2.3 Violence and Harm

2.4 Hate Speech and Harassment

2.5 Illegal Activity

2.6 Intellectual Property Violations

3. Content Moderation
3.1 Approach
Bigjpg operates as a private image processing service rather than a public content publishing platform. Uploaded images are not publicly accessible or shareable through our platform. This architecture inherently limits the exposure and distribution of prohibited content.
Our content moderation approach includes:
- Clear prohibitions in our Terms of Service and this Content Policy
- Automated NSFW and prohibited-content scanning performed periodically by Alibaba Cloud Content Moderation Service on uploaded files
- Automatic flagging and removal of content identified as violating prohibited-content rules
- Enforcement of acceptable use through account-level action
- Manual review when abuse is reported or detected
- Cooperation with law enforcement and relevant authorities where legally required
- Prompt removal of illegal content when identified
- Account suspension or termination for verified violations
3.2 Automated Content Scanning
Bigjpg's backend storage is hosted on Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS), and uploaded files are scanned periodically by Alibaba Cloud Content Moderation Service for prohibited content categories, including:
- Nudity and sexually explicit content (NSFW)
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) signals
- Violent or graphic content
- Other content categories flagged by the storage provider's content recognition services
When a scan flags an uploaded file as potentially violating prohibited-content rules, Bigjpg takes the following actions:
- The flagged content is removed or quarantined
- The associated account is reviewed
- Repeat or severe violations result in account suspension or permanent termination
- Where legally required (e.g., for CSAM), the matter is reported to relevant authorities
Because all uploaded images pass through this scanning infrastructure, even though our service does not generate or publicly display content, an automated content-moderation layer is applied at the storage layer.
3.3 Reporting Violations
Users and third parties may report suspected content violations by contacting:
Email: i@bigjpg.com
All reports are reviewed individually. When a violation is confirmed, appropriate action is taken, which may include content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.
3.4 Cooperation with Authorities
Where legally required and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Bigjpg will cooperate with law enforcement authorities and respond to valid legal requests concerning illegal content or unlawful activity conducted through our service.
4. User Responsibilities
Users of Bigjpg are solely responsible for the content they upload. By using the service, users represent and warrant that:
- They own the content or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to upload and process it
- The content does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- The content does not fall into any prohibited category listed in this policy
- Where required by law, they have obtained consent from any identifiable individuals appearing in uploaded images
5. Enforcement
Bigjpg reserves the right to take enforcement action against any user who violates this Content Policy, including:
- Removal or restriction of access to specific content
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of the account
- Reporting to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities where legally required
The severity of enforcement action depends on the nature, severity, and frequency of the violation.
6. Appeals
Users who believe their content was removed or their account was restricted in error may submit an appeal by contacting:
Email: i@bigjpg.com
Appeals should include the account information and a description of why the action should be reconsidered. Appeals are reviewed by our team.
7. Policy Updates
This Content Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or industry best practices. Users are encouraged to review this page regularly.
Continued use of Bigjpg after policy changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
